We Are Open!
Open to Essential Workers
On May 4th we re-opened Fremont Kids Academy to our families and to the families of Essential Workers.
We have temporary hours that will allow us to screen the children as they arrive and manage staffing ratios.
Open for Drop Off - we will open for drop off at 9am each day. Drop off will be closed at 9:30am and we will not intake any children after that time. Each family will be screened for illnes. Any child with symptoms of any illness at all will be asked to go home.
Change of Clothes
We will require all children to change their clothes upon arrival at Fremont Kids Academy.
Lunch, Snack, and Dinner from Home
All meals will be brought from home as well as a water bottle.
We will close early each day in order to deep clean our facility and prepare for the following day.
Many families have chosen to keep their children home until the Shelter In Place is lifted completely. During this time we will offer temporary childcare services to essential workers.
Roster Security We will continue to hold all childcare spots until we are able to open at full capacity, regardless of payment. No child will lose their spot while we are temporarily closed. Once we re-open all tuition will be collected as normal.
Resources I have set up a blog page for our families to post their needs and resources during this unpredictable time. If you have a surplus of any resources that someone may need, please post it in the comments on this blog so that we can work as a village to meet the needs of all of our Fremont Kids Academy families. If you need something please post it so that we can help you provide for your family. Resources - COVID -19 Needs and Wants
Resources - COVID -19 Needs and Wants Parents interact with staff about student's Projects.
We are hoping that all of our families are healthy and happy and enjoying time with their children.
Take care, and hug those babies for us!

1. Comfortable Home Environment
Children enjoy a nurturing environment complete with all the comforts of home. Separating from family members can be difficult on children. Finding familiar items such as couches, stuffed animals, toys, and loving arms help children make a smooth transition from family to care provider each day.
2. Customized Kindergarten Readiness Curriculum
Through our relationships with the community, Fremont Kid's Academy offers preschool curriculum geared toward kindergarten readiness for each local elementary school. Children have an opportunity to be exposed to concepts and ideas they will encounter in their kindergarten classrooms in the future.
3. Peace of Mind for Parents
Parental peace of mind is one of the most important aspects of our program. We offer state of the art webcams through a secure server that gives parents the opportunity to observe the program and ensure the happiness of their children. Our blog page allows parents to view the materials and projects that the students are working on and communication between parents and staff is emphasized on a regular basis. We use multiple methods of communication including email, text, phone, bulletin boards, newsletters, and good old face to face conversations to ensure that parents know what is happening for their children.
7:45 - 9:00am
Free Play and Breakfast
Children arrive to find a warm and caring staff and upbeat environment. Activities are available for exploration, music is turned on, and friends welcome them into their day. Drop in breakfast is served and parents can interact with staff.

Project Time and Curriculum
Projects are set out to discover and learn. Each project is a combination of curriculum categories and is driven by the children's interests.

Circle Time and Curriculum
Circle time is when the children and staff all come together to discuss what projects will be tackled. Each child interacts and helps to determine the project for the week based on their interests. Stories are included in circle time to encourage new ideas and explore curriculum concepts.
