The children at Fremont Kid's Academy have been working on a project that is based on the subjects in the STE(A)M curriculum. We have been using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math as tools to make activities fun and educational.
We have created a stick mobile by first collecting sticks outside (science), counting them (math), painting them (art), sorting them and photographing them (technology), and building a mobile (engineering) with them.
The end result is project that the children enjoyed, and the parents get to display.
