Owner and Director
I chose to start a home child care center to offer the same quality child care to other parents as I wanted for my family. When searching for the right child care center for my 4 year old daughter I kept running into the same draw backs. I was looking for a nurturing home environment that also focused on education and socialization and I was unable to find such a center. The goal was to find a place that my daughter could be comfortable while still experiencing some structure and routine.
Any of the family day care homes I interviewed didn't seem to be engaging enough for my daughter to be happy and I was never quite sure about her safety. I wanted to be able to check on her through out the day without disturbing her activity. I also wanted her to be getting a head start on scholastic and social activities but I didn't want her to feel like she was attending an institution such as a preschool. I had trouble finding the right place and sought to offer a solution to other parents facing the same dilemma.
Fremont Kid's Academy was born out of my hope to meet those needs and exceed expectations of parents just like myself.
