Fremont Kid's Academy has a curriculum philosophy that includes Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Today, that curriculum is manifesting itself in a mask activity. The children in our care are using Science by learning the components that make up a face (eyes, ears, nose, etc), Engineering by putting the components in the right place, Design by creating their own representation of their face and Art by creating the whole effect. Each day includes an activity like this that uses our curriculum to influence and benefit the children.

Having healthy food choices in daycare is a very important part of a great parenting plan. As parents we all want to give our children the best food options but when it comes to daycare we aren't there to make sure that our children are getting complete meals and limited sweets.
At Fremont Kid's Academy we offer whole foods, milk and water, and we stay away from sweets. Each day the children in our care enjoy a variety of foods that they help prepare and serve. We know that growing bodies and minds need great nutrition to maximize their potential. |
