Thanksgiving in Preschool
Encouraging children in preschool to be thankful for what they have is an important part of the Thanksgiving traditional at Fremont Kids Academy.
Playing in Childcare
Playing is learning in childcare and the students in care at Fremont Kids Academy are learning lots. All children during the pandemic were subjected to social isolation and are trying to catch up with their friendships. Allowing safe interaction is necessary for preschool children to develop the skills necessary for kindergarten enrollment.
Children in care at Fremont Kids Academy prepare for kindergarten in many different ways. Dressing up and playing the parts of a book they are reading helps them with reading comprehension.
Children who have been at home during the pandemic are having difficulty transitioning back to a social environment. It’s important to start the gradual socialization process now before they are expected to tolerate a preschool environment. Fremont Kids Academy has smaller classes and more one on one attention than large preschools. We also practice full Covid protocols as per the CDC.
Imagination Play in Preschool
Children in care at Fremont Kids Academy enjoy lots of outdoor imagination play. It’s so important to allow preschool children time to play and create as part of their kindergarten preparation. Socialization and free play is critical to children at this age. It is especially important for children who have been isolated during the pandemic to be socialized with other children and adults prior to entering kindergarten.
