Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math are huge components of the curriculum for children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy. Today the children learned about Science and how surface tension works to create rain drops. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy have been learning about the weather. They've been watching the clouds and using their scientific observation skills to predict what the weather will be like each day.Art is a huge part of the curriculum at Fremont Kid's Academy. From music, to painting, to dancing, the children enrolled in our infant and preschool programs enjoy expressing themselves everyday. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy have been observing the rain in the last week. They have painted pictures of the scenes they are observing outside. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy enjoy building during project time. They work on balance and design and have fun making block houses. Children learn to feed themselves by practicing first with their hands, then with utensils. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy work on their fine motor skills by eating snack.Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math are all important subjects for the children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy. We are dedicated to sharing a love of learning with all of the children who are part of our infant and preschool programs. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy enjoy making art projects and getting messy. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy love to participate in the daily clean up routine. They learn to take responsibility for their environment and have pride in keeping their area clean. Gross motor skills are important for children to learn. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy are practicing their gross motor skills by walking a balance beam. This activity helps them to coordinate their bodies to what they see. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect back on the past year and give thanks for all of the experiences we've had. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy are announcing what they are thankful for and sharing their hopes for the coming year. Birthdays are special days at Fremont Kid's Academy where the children in our care celebrate eachother and enjoy making quality friendships. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy love to show off their art. Children love to see the leaves turning color in the fall. The children in our preschool program are making a wreath showing the colors of fall. Learning about the seasons is a great way to help the children in the preschool program at Fremont Kid's Academy understand cycles. We are always looking to include multiple subjects in a lesson. An Autumn project covers science, math and art as well as being fun. Fremont Kid's Academy Preschool teaches the children in our care to recognize the letters of the alphabet and to write them. Cooperation is a key component of the curriculum at Fremont Kid's Academy. The children in our care work together to make group projects. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy celebrated Diwali by making paper fireworks and enjoying a special lunch. The staff and clients at Fremont Kid's Academy become extended family. We are here for each other through it the year and love to celebrate all the children in our care, both present and past.Art is an integral part of the preschool curriculum at Fremont Kid's Academy. The children in our care are given many opportunities each day to create art of their own. Fremont Kid's Academy strives to make learning fun. All children need to learn to count but playing counting games makes it more fun and engaging. Sight words are words that children are expected to know on sight without sounding them out. At Fremont Kid's Academy we help the children in our care to recognize those words by encouraging them to find the words in books. They love to go on a word search. |
