Fall is here and the children at Fremont Kid's Academy are ushering the new season in with style. Each of our Kings and Queens decorated their own crown with leaf stickers and observed the different shapes and leaf styles. They went outside, collected fallen leaves from the garden, and made a self portrait collage.

Recognizing and creating patterns are precursors to reading. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy practice pre-reading and reading skills every day. They love to cut and paste and make patterns with shapes.Each Friday the children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy bring a special toy from home to share with their friends. They are learning to have empathy for other people by sharing their personal items and of course they enjoy seeing all the new toys.Shapes decorate the trees as the children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy participate in our preschool curriculum. They are learning the names of shapes and colors and they are having a ball creating their own unique piece of art.
Fremont Kid's Academy provides a complete curriculum to prepare the children in our care for Kindergarten and beyond. We work within the children's interests to be sure that they are engaged and learning. From fine motor skills to pre-reading patterns, our activities are designed to encompass the needs of all children and all levels.The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy work diligently at creating patterns with colors and learn to follow directions and share with each other.In honor of the Total Solar Eclipse we experienced in Northern California the children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy created works of art to mimic what happens when the moon passes in front of the sun. During the partial eclipse that was experienced in our area, the children enjoyed a safe project inside protected from eye injury. |
