The children in preschool at Fremont Kid's Academy are learning to recognize and write numerals from 1 to 100. Our curriculum includeds many STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) subjects. Each child is encouraged to explore activities and express their interest in different subjects.The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy participate in our kindergarten readiness program to prepare for the rigors of their first year of traditional school. We work closely with the Fremont Unified School District to ensure that the children that graduate our program are ready to succeed in kindergarten.Fremont Kid's Academy is taking advantage of the warm weather and enjoying our lunches outside. Today the children in our preschool and infant programs got to participate in a child size buffet. We set out a wonderful dinner buffet for them and they got to serve themselves. They all felt so proud for doing it on their own (with a little help)!Children of all ages love to play with playdough. They have fun while playing but we know that they are learning while they play. The children in the preschool program at Fremont Kid's Academy are actively learning to fine tune their fine motor skills and they are also learning how to cooperate with their peers.Art is an integral part of the preschool curriculum for the children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy. Everyday we encourage them to express themselves through many different types of art forms.The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy had an amazing snack time today outside in this warm November weather. They enjoyed a nutritious snack of fruit and cheese.Fremont Kid's Academy has a tradition for the children in our care to bring a toy to share on Friday. Friday Fun Day is a day for the children to share their favorite toy with their friends.Fremont Kid's Academy provides many opportunities for the children in our care to practice all the skills necessary for kindergarten. Putting together puzzles helps them work on their hand-eye coordination, as well as their fine motor skills.Sharing is a skill that takes lots of practice in a supportive setting. The children in care at Fremont Kid's Academy have lots of chances each day to practice sharing. We help them to understand that sharing is something we do with our friends and is nice to do.Creating a community of friends and families is one of the happy side effects of a successful childcare facility. Fremont Kid's Academy is grateful to have such a wonderful group of families that have trusted us with the care and education of their children. We offer them many ways to connect with our staff and to observe their children while in our care. Webcams are available for parents and staff is always motivated to coordinate the best possible care.Fremont Kids Academy celebrated Halloween with a costume party and treats. The children in our infant and preschool programs enjoyed trick or treating with us and dancing to spooky music. |
