​Hi there... just wanted to thank you again for all the work and care from you and yours over the couple of years that Sage was at Fremont Kids Academy.

Sage started public school in August, but had to be in transitional kindergarten because she’s a September birthday. We’ve been quite concerned about the negative effects of being (effectively) held back a whole year, and have been petitioning the school to accelerate her... but such requests haven’t succeeded in New Haven USD since Common Core took effect earlier this decade, so we were worried that either she’d be stuck or we’d be going to extreme measures to get her the education she needs.

A couple of weeks ago, though, we arrived to the TK classroom to find that she wasn’t supposed to be there anymore. So Sage is a full-day kindergartner now! And quite possibly the first child to be accelerated a grade in this district in almost a decade (maybe more). She took end-of-kindergarten tests and got top marks in almost all areas.

She couldn’t have got this far without all the love, support, and academic encouragement she got at FKA. You, your family, and your staff created an awesome environment for her and we can’t thank you enough for contributing to her success.
